How to use it
- Click the orange box above, or press F.
- The whole screen turns orange. Move the mouse or press an arrow key to see the controls hint.
- Click anywhere or press Esc to go back.
On an iPhone the browser keeps its address bar, so the color fills the page but not the very top strip. Turn the phone sideways or scroll a little to hide the bar.
What an orange screen is for
- Evening light. Orange uses the red and green parts of each pixel and leaves blue off, so it gives light without the blue of a white screen.
- Mood and parties. A warm sunset color for a room, or orange for Halloween.
- Backgrounds. Download an orange image in any size.
Questions
Does an orange screen block blue light?
Every orange here except peach has the blue part of each pixel off or low, so the screen gives off little blue light. It is not a medical filter.
How do I exit?
