How to use it
- Pick a theme and 12 or 24 hour time.
- Turn seconds and the date on or off.

In full screen the up and down arrow keys change the brightness. The page keeps the screen awake while the clock is full screen, in browsers that support it.
Ideas for a clock screensaver
- Desk clock on a second monitor. A big clock you can read across the room while you work on the main screen.
- Old tablet on a shelf. Plug it in, open this page and add it to the home screen for a clean full screen clock.
- Presentations and events. Show the time on a projector during breaks.
- Bedside. For a dim clock at night, use the Night red theme at low brightness, or the night clock, which is built for the dark and moves slightly to protect the screen.
Themes
- Classic: dark gray cards with white digits.
- Light: white cards on light gray, good in a bright room.
- Retro: brown cards with amber digits.
- Blue: navy cards with pale blue digits.
- Night red: black background with dim red digits for a dark room.
The clock uses your device's time and time zone, so it is exactly as accurate as your device clock.
Questions
Is the time accurate?
It shows your device's own clock. Phones and computers that set the time automatically are usually correct to within a second.
Can I hide the seconds?
Yes. Turn off Show seconds and only the hours and minutes flip.
Will the screen stay on?
While the clock is full screen, the page asks the browser to keep the screen awake. Most current browsers allow it. If yours does not, set a longer auto-lock time in your device settings.
Does the flip animation use a lot of battery?
The cards only move when a digit changes, once a second at most, so the page is idle most of the time. Screen brightness makes a much bigger difference to battery life. Turn the animation off if you prefer.
Can I leave it on an OLED screen all day?
Any fixed image shown for many hours on an OLED screen can leave faint marks over time. For long use at night, the night clock moves itself a little every minute to spread the wear.
